Request for Proposals (RFPs)
RFPs are where your project is introduced to the contractors you choose to bid it. Our electronic RFP packages are comprehensive, easy to understand and have all of the necessary information for a contractor to bid your project. RFPs include project information, instructions, deadlines, scopes, photos, management company compliance requirements and any other information a contractor may need to perform your work.
Competitive Bidding
Once a contractor receives an RFP, the race begins! They will let us know if they plan on bidding, they can use out system for RFIs (Request for Information), conduct controlled site visits and submit their bid electronically. We are able to track all of this information online. Their bids come in instantly in-line and they have the ability to add line items and attach photos and documents.
Bid Review & Leveling
This is perhaps the most exciting part of the CapX process. You finally get to see real numbers for how much your project will cost. Acumen will give you a detailed presentation for each project going over all of the bids side by side and choosing your options. We also have the technology in place to "level" or manipulate your bids to show you the best possible scenario to execute your project.
Finalizing Contracts
After you choose how you want to move forward on your project, Acumen will take it from there. We will facilitate the paperwork and contracts required for both you and the contractor. Once these are completed, they will be securely stored and readily available for you to access within our system.
Other Paperwork
Many owners and management companies require standard forms and/or documents to be completed in addition to contracts. We will help with the facilitation and completion of those forms and store them with the rest of your project documents.
File Repository
As a Microsoft based company, we securely store all of our documents using Microsoft SharePoint. Microsoft SharePoint is widely accepted and one of the most secure storage portals in the world. All of your files associated with us and your projects will be readily available through our Microsoft Teams interface.
